I've purchased over 50k lbs of materials from Whiz- Q the last few years & their product and service are first class . No project to big or small. Dejorn is very knowledgeable with materials & project scope & can get your material ready or delivered in a timely manner. It's nice to have a place with old fashion friendly customer service.

I went to Whiz-Q last week to purchase some flagstone & find a gravel mix like what we have in our backyard. I had no idea how this was going to work as I was using my personal car, so I went inside & spoke with a man behind the counter. He. Was. Awesome. He told me to weigh my car first, then where to go in the yard for the specific flagstone that I needed & that someone would meet me there to help load the pieces. I didn’t catch that young man’s name but he couldn’t have been nicer. 🪨🌲 Additionally, the young lady at the scales was super nice & helpful. She even directed me to the nearest (nice) gas station when I had to stop everything to go get gas. 🙄 Upon returning to finish up my rock shopping trip 🪨 I found the perfect gravel mix, weighed, paid & returned the next day for more. Everyone was friendly & the prices were very reasonable. I’ll be back.
Thanks Whiz-Q! See you soon ~

I've been a customer at Whiz-Q stone since 1999. I bought a small utility trailer just down the road from them and my first stop was Whiz-Q for a load of river rock. A couple of trailers and many trips between Whiz-Q and two houses and I believe I have moved a mountain, or at least a foothill. Whiz-Q has always had a great selection of landscaping material at reasonable prices.
The facility is always clean and easy to navigate (gets busy on weekends though) I've never had a problem with their machine operators either, they're very skilled on the loaders and wont drop rocks over the side of your trailer or truck bed. There are other places to buy aggregate in the area but I just go to Whiz-Q. If they don't have it you probably don't need it.
Derek and team are second to none. I made one phone call and all my questions were answered and I had the stone delivered to my house the very next day. Great product, great family and even better service. The new black basalt looks awesome with my existing and even better since it's been freshened up!
Overall, good service with the guys outside. It's customer service inside with false advertisement and disrespect. I picked up half yard one day and came back the next for the other half. The following day, they said nothing about bring back the sack. So they charge me in addition of $25 for the bag then lied to me about a partial reimbursement. If I brought the bag back. When I confronted the woman that did the sale. She muttered a slur under her breath in Spanish to me. The management needs to get their sale representatives straight of what they cannot do.
I originally was told to get some pea gravel and when I showed up at the workplace, the forewoman said she wanted decomposed granite. I went back and Whiz-Q removed all of the gravel and replaced it with the granite. All they did was ‘return’ the gravel and build a new receipt to make sure they have correct the inventory showing. Nice bunch of people inside and out. I’ll be working with them again and again.
these guys are so sweet, tho it seems silly to weigh and price out 5 different $1 rocks I needed as color samples. oh well... it's your time.
very helpful. lot loaders considerate and friendly, even while out in dusty 100°+ heat. the yard itself is nice and smooth, tho smoother out behind the warehouse than between bins & pallet loads. I'm sure it's a mess when it rains but it was a pleasant surprise for my 4Runner to not have to navigate dips & holes.
some things we want were not in stock now. told fountains will come in next week. got info on landscape contractors and retaining wall specialists, which we appreciated. only grabbed 4 large cap stones (to use as temporary step into back door) and the 5 color samples, but will be back for DG (nice rusty color), pea gravel, cedar mulch, wall & driveway supplies, large accent boulders for front yard rewilding project, and the rest of the stuff we need to make our home 's outside match the inside.
btw... you REALLY need to start carrying mulch glue, guys. it's an untapped market and a great add-on for pea gravel, DG & mulch sales. keeps mulch from floating away (or gravel from migrating) and stays permeable.
I've been trading with Whiz Q since it was a dinky, little pile of rocks at it's current location. The expansion over the last 25 years has created a rocky wonderland where I can find just about any type, size, color, and variety of rocks. Also, there's bulk compost, tools, and do-it-yourself projects.
The place is busy, especially on weekends. Saturday finds food trucks on the property to help the customers pass the time.
Patience and communication is the key to a wonderful visit to find just the right stones.
The prices are usually the lowest I've found, and delivery can be set up for just about anything.
